In 2016 Anna-Louise managed to establish contact with Welsh-born, and avid Cardiff City supporter Mike Young, who was by now working out of his LA Studios.

 

The connection was made via our Bears and it was during this initial ’Skpye’ call that Mike offered to produce a PSA (Public Service Announcement) about Fraser’s donation. Anna-Louise wrote the script and sent it to Mike in LA and work on our animation began.

 

Due to be launched on March 1st (St David’s Day) we excitingly planned for this event which you can see here. However, on that day, Storm Emma decided to make an appearance and sadly we were not able to launch the animation at Cardiff Castle but instead from Anna-Louise’s kitchen. Despite all of the challenges, the animation went on to WIN the Charity Film Awards and has reached over 8.2 million people in Welsh and in English.

 

In 2026, we are looking to launch the animation in 8 more languages to again encourage those conversations around organ donation.  If you would like to find out more then please contact us.
