Whilst walking home from a Christmas party on the 5th December 2015 the unimaginable happened to the family of four when Fraser and Stu were hit by a careless driver.  

 

On the darkest of days when Anna-Louise was approached about organ donation she did not have to think due to a conversation that she had had with the family just two weeks before. 

 

Six days after Stuey and Fraser’s donation – Believe Organ Donor Support was founded – and with the help of daughter Elizabeth, Anna-Louise encouraged people to have those conversations and to remove organ donation as a taboo subject.

 

Elizabeth and Anna-Louise were heavily involved in the animation, Anna-Louise wrote the script and Elizabeth helped with the sound effects going on to be referred to as the Welsh Stephen Spielberg at the age of 5!  The animation has now been translated into 8 languages that, again, Anna-Louise and Elizabeth chose those special voices to really be able to reflect the FAB Gift of Life. These animations will be launched in 2026.

 

Since then Anna-Louise and Elizabeth again wrote the script and starred in our Believe launch video that again reached the final of the Charity Film Awards.

 

Anna-Louise hopes that this garden will give hope to other donor families, support those affected by organ donation and ultimately thank all of the community from their family for their belief in them.
