Education
We believe that one of the best ways to get the message across is through education. We have many tools available for school teachers to help children, young people and adults learn about organ donation in Wales.
We have an ongoing collaboration with local primary schools and students, with the aim of establishing a full cross curricula teaching pack for organ donation.
Believe’s organ donation support is a topic on the Welsh Baccalaureate scheme for 14-16 year olds in Wales and we also attend further education colleges and have given lectures to the Police, Paramedics and other organisations.
We have created our own YouTube channel to post documentaries, news reports and support aids for those wishing to educate. Please check us out at youtube.com/BelieveTVUK
Our animation is a very effective tool at raising people’s awareness about organ donation and has been watched by over 8 million people globally. It has also been translated into 8 different languages, which we’ll be looking to launch in the very near future!
